Even My Sneeze Refused to be Silent

I’ve always sneezed out loud, not to be disruptive, not to be rebellious, but because something in me refused to suppress even that small, natural surge of life.
As a child, I was told it was unladylike, to sneeze politely, to restrain, to hold it in.
But why must we silence the body’s truth to appear more acceptable?
Years later, I came across a scientific finding:holding in a sneeze can cause damage to brain cells. It was a quiet satori.A revelation that our bodies are always speaking the truth —and when we silence them, we suffer.
And isn't it the same with emotions?
When we hold back tears, swallow anger, suppress grief, laugh too quietly, speak too carefully —we are squeezing life into a smaller and smaller box.
To live naturally is to let things move through us —a sneeze, a breath, a word, a cry, a truth, to trust that our expressions are not just valid,
but sacred.
So here’s to the loud sneezers, the truth-speakers, the heart-feelers, the ones who breathe deeply and live unapologetically.
Because life was never meant to be muted.
Let it flow. Let it resound. Let it be real.
With all my love,
Solaris
