The Timeless Letters We Carry in Our Hearts

There are certain treasures we gather along the winding path of life — not the kind made of gold or jewels, but something far more precious: words written from the heart.
Over the years, I’ve quietly kept letters from the people who made me feel seen, loved, and understood - my best friends, my husband, souls who journeyed alongside me, even when the world felt heavy.
Recently, as part of my healing and remembrance journey, I found myself returning to these old letters. I unfolded them one by one — their familiar creases, faded ink, and the warmth of old handwriting washing over me like a gentle tide. Strangely, something shifted this time. As more layers of my old wounds peeled away, the words hit deeper, more profoundly than ever before. It felt as if I was reading them for the very first time — through new eyes, through a heart that had softened, widened, awakened.
Among them was a letter from my best friend, Dung — a letter that, unlike the others, was undated. Yet as I read it, I realized: it didn’t need a date. It was a timeless message. It is as if it was kept in a time capsule, meant not just for who I was back then, but for who I am now. Her words echoed across the years:
"Hi!
Are you happy?
Congratulations on making it halfway toward your dream.
There’s still the other half of the journey left,
so try your best to push through it gracefully,
just like you did the first half.
Remember — I am always by your side
(though what I can actually do to help, I’m not quite sure!?),
but you are never alone!
GOOD LUCK TO YOU!
Dung"

Reading her letter, I felt a presence, not just a memory — but her Higher Self, speaking to me across time and space, whispering encouragement exactly when I needed it most.
I realize now: true love, true friendship, never fades. It weaves itself into the very fabric of our soul, waiting to resurface when we are ready to receive it fully.
The parts of me that once brushed off these letters lightly, rushing on to the next thing, are gone now. What remains is reverence, gratitude, a deep honoring of the invisible cords of love that have always tethered me back to hope, even when I forgot.
Through Dung’s timeless letter, I remembered:
That I have always been supported, even when I couldn’t see it.
That my dreams are not foolish; they are sacred seeds, still unfolding.
That no matter how solitary the path feels at times, love — real love — walks beside me.
And today, I share this moment with you, beloved souls. Because maybe, just maybe, you too have forgotten. Maybe you too have old letters tucked away — in drawers, in memory, in the silent rooms of your heart — waiting for you to pick them up again.
Maybe someone — a friend, a loved one, your Higher Self — has been trying to tell you:
You are not alone. You have come so far. And the journey ahead, while unknown, is filled with unseen hands ready to lift you.
If you feel called, take some time today to reconnect with the love that has always been yours.
Pull out an old letter. Reread it with the heart you have now, not the heart you had then.
Write yourself a new letter from the voice of your Higher Self, who sees how far you’ve come, and how much light still lies ahead.
Reach out to someone who once made your heart lighter. Even a silent blessing sent through the ethers matters.
You are never as alone as you fear. The love you have given — and the love you have received — lives on, stronger than time. May you feel it in your bones today.
May you remember that the best is still unfolding.
With so much love and gratitude,
Solarys
